Summer Fun & Learning: Read

This is a virtual event virtual event that will unfold all summer long. Beginning in mid-June, Portland-based Indigo Arts will release read alouds, arts & crafts, guest speakers, and amazing performances by Black authors and illustrators. Maine artists Ashiey Bryan and Daniel Minter are among those featured.

South Portland residents can get a Portland Public Library card and access a wide variety of digital resources such as Cloud Library ebooks, audiobooks, and read aloud libraries, like Tumblebooks. Normally you can get a PPL card issued by going to a library in South Portland or Portland, but right now you can get a temporary eResource Library Card by emailing lending@portlib.org.
