Ms. Hartley is a second-career teacher. She has a M.S. in Library Science with a School Library Certificate from University of North Texas, and a B.A in Biology from Colby College. Her background is in small business/non-profit database consulting and biotech industry R & D. Her volunteer life brought her to teaching, She has two daughters who went to Brown School, Mahoney, and SPHS, and are now at Smith College and Grinnell College. She loves gardening, hiking, skiing with her extended family, and reading, of course!
